White Blancmange - Ski specialists providing an elite team of ski instructors, who have a pedigree second to none. All our Instructors have the highest qualification expected to work in Europe, the 'Carte Professionnelle D'Educateur Sportif,' Francaise. This qualification certificate allowes them to teach. We do not employ ski instructors curremtly in training progressing to this level. They have to have the full certificate. The profile of each team member can be seen below.

White Blancmange offer a very bespoke ski service which allows you to have the same ski instructor for the full week of your holiday, therefore making the experience as less stress free as possible and fun. The benefits of this service allows your family totally flexibility, so you decide what happens when and where...... The ski instructors can be booked for full or half days, along with booking your winter luxury chalet.

Our ski instructors will take care of you, whether it's your very first time on snow, improving several skills like piste performance, moguls, or off-piste. Simply we can offer guiding around the resort, taking you to the best places to ski. The little things are taken care of like booking lunch reservations, so you can enjoy your mountain experience to the fullest.

We have ski specialists based in all the key resorts Courchevel, Val d'Isere, Chamonix, Meribel, Verbier, Zermatt and can supply to anywhere in the French, Swiss or Austrian Alps. The main team are based on the Portes du Soleil in France.

Mark has 28 years-plus ski teaching experience, and has followed his passion to the Alps to set up this remarkable team of Instructors. Mark has hand picked a unbelievable ski team that covers unsurpassed ski experience, allowing clients to have the very best ski instruction way beyond the normal boundaries of any other ski provider. Our aim at White Blancmange is to ensure we continue to provide this outstanding pedigree of instructors so our clients come back time and time again.

We are delighted to have Andy on the team with his wealth of experience.

Andy spent 8 years on the British Alpine Ski team; 6 years racing on the World Cup circuit alongside the Bell brothers in the '90's. He represented his country at the Olympics in Sestriere 1997, Vail 1999 and Nagano 1998 at the World Championships. His best result was in Vail where he was 24th. He is 3 times British Champion in 1997, 1998, and 1999 in Downhill and Super G.

These days Andy lives near Aviemore for the summer with his wife and three children. His time is spent teaching young instructors for the royal yachting association in windsurfing , sailing and power-boating. He is also a Coxain for the local lifeboat association in Aviemore.

In the winter his family move to the alps where he works with private clients in Austria, Switzerland and France. Andy also coaches up and coming instructors to gain their full qualifications. The technical courses enable them to become fully qualified towards ISTD level 4, the Carte Professionnelle Francaise.

Part of becoming a fully qualified instructor is having to complete the Euro speed test. Andy spent 5 years as an opener for the Euro speed test, setting the standard for all ski instructors in Europe. He also represented BASI as a demo team skier at two Interski instructor Congresses delivering workshops and showing the British teaching method to instructors from all over the world.

Marco is a great addition to the team.

Marco started skiing in Italy at the age of 3 years old. He eventually joined the Italian team where he raced to 40 FIS points and has won over 200 championships. He is at home in the ‘Park’ as well ‘Off Piste’, an inspirational skier not to be missed.

In the summer Marco loves the sea where he is qualified as a yacht master off shore.

We are proud to announce our new member of the WB Team, the amazing Eilidh.

Eilidh grew up skiing in Cairngorm, Scotland. She trained and raced from an early age. Her talents weren’t unnoticed, as she competed for the Scottish team and left school to go full time with the British Development team. Eilidh was U18 British overall champion at 16 years and represented GB at the Youth Olympics.

Eilidh went to University to study Geography in Aberdeen. After a short spell from skiing she won the British universities championships in consecutive years. Eilidh was invited to be part of the British University team in take part in the famous Anglo-Suisse race in St Moritz. During university she began coaching for race clubs including Gordon Skiers and the Alpine Training Centre, as well as private work in Verbier.

After graduating her first job was in Environmental Consultancy and bought first property!
